Virtual machines are not officially supported, but if you still wish to test the system, make sure to allocate at least 128 MB of video memory and enable 3D acceleration. You can do this from VirtualBox → Machine Settings → Display.
NebiDE Wayland requires 3D acceleration; using software rendering may result in visual artifacts and screen distortions. Performance may not be satisfactory, and since Xwayland is not fully compatible in virtualized environments, legacy (X11-based) applications may fail to launch. (After all, this is a virtual machine environment.)
Additionally, installing the NVIDIA proprietary (or open kernel) drivers after installation is strongly recommended. The OOBE (Out-of-Box Experience) screen includes detailed guidance for this — just follow the instructions.
