Fixed
- The whole window could stop responding to clicks on legacy/patched Macs. v2.0.7 restored
translateZ(0)on every interactive control to cure the WebKit repaint bug; on a partially-accelerated compositor — OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher Macs (e.g. a 2011 iMac running macOS Sonoma) — dozens of forced compositing surfaces stall the compositor and the entire app stops reacting. v2.0.8 replaces the mass promotion with a surgical one: only the single control currently holding.ongets a layer, so at most one surface is ever in play, and tearing it down on switch forces WebKit to re-resolve the blurred backdrop (the re-composite that flushes the stale paint). The same class of bug was seen twice now: mass promotion fixes fast machines and kills weak ones, so the fix stays scoped to one active control at a time. PR [#227].
Changed
- The model-canvas blur probe is skipped while the canvas is empty (avoids pointless load-time style churn on slow machines), and clicking a canvas tool now also nudges a one-frame recomposite of the sidebar as a fallback for compositors where layer teardown alone leaves the backdrop stale.
