Nali is an open-source, cross-platform command-line utility that retrieves geographic information and content delivery network provider details for IP addresses. Written in Go, it performs lookups entirely offline using locally stored databases. The software supports IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and can identify associated locations, network organizations, and CDN services. Users can select from several geographic databases, including Chunzhen, GeoIP2, IPIP, ip2region, and IPinfo Lite. It accepts individual addresses, multiple addresses, and interactive queries. Unix pipeline integration automatically annotates IP addresses appearing in the output of other commands. Nali works with DNS utilities such as dig and nslookup to enrich network diagnostics. It provides multilingual responses and optional colored terminal output across major operating systems.
