If you run the mythvideo-scanner.pl script with no parameters, it will look for them in the mythconverg database.

The main operation of the script is scan a path looking for files that mythvideo supports. It looks for an existing entry in the database, if the plot of that entry is short (less than 20 characters) it will continue with the search, else it will skip the file. It will then determine title, season, and episode. It will then call various grabbers until the data is of a sufficient quality.
