  • Multiple putty session support des not work. connecting with a key still tries to send user and password, and if they are left blank, the custom commands are not sent
  • Great project, perfect for whom is always in need of having like 10+ putty sessions open. A hidden feature of it is that you can drag and drop the tabs to split the screen!!! And each sub screen can have its own subset of tabs. I'd like to contribute to this somehow.
  • Under Windows 10 running putty Release 0.70 on a 1680x1050 screen, Multi PuTTY Manager displays putty windows with an excessively large font size. When I run putty on its own, the font size is much smaller. Also, configuring putty's font size has no effect on the font size Multi PuTTY Manager displays. Note that a similar program named mtputty behaves almost identically.
  • Es excelente, faltaria incluir opciones avanzadas como poner levantar entorno grafico.
  • This tool is highly underrated. When Putty is setup correctly this tool gives an easy way to login and manage multiple connections. I really love the function of sending one command to multiple servers. This tool is unmissable in my company and would gladly pay for this tool if it was not free. Keep up the good work Mr. developer!
  • Useful for who manage a lot of connection
  • It works very fine but I have issue with CTRL+TAB. I'm running on Windows 7, 64bit, Profesional. When i have run Multi putty manager I can't use CTRL+TAB until MPM will be closed Keyboard shortcuts are missing, e.g. for close the window, open new tab ....
  • This looks good... Need to give it a more detailed try.. But, donno why it opens any new session in a new detached putty windiow and not within the tabs. Though I see multile tabs for each session I open.. .those are all greyed out. May be some configuration that I am missing.. :(
  • Very good !
  • Very nice program, but if i could wish for features i would vote for detachable terminal tabs/windows and a "close" button on each tab, and "right" and "left" arrows in the tab bar to allow scrolling through the tabs, and to indicate if you've got more tabs than those visible
  • I tried this out, because the old putty connection manager was having problems with alt-tab on newer Windows versions (task bar was blinking when you did click it instead of alt-tabbing into the window). This could be resolved by clicking the title bar and tabbing out and in again. Wit Multi Putty Manager alt-tab doesn't do that, however when I have multiple tabs arranged side by side, alt-tab doesn't pick the last one, but cycles through them. Which is super annoying, when you develop something, switch to the one tab you need to execute it in and have the other tabs there to show information you need. So instead of alt-tabbing I have to click into the tab I want every time. Another thing I found is that I can't disable all the status and toolbars. I don't need them, once my database is set up. Other than that, this would be just the tool I need. Very simple and I can arrange windows like I want.
  • Overall very good. Can't seem to get sftp working with winSCP as it won't use private key defined in putty session.
  • Promising, but it needs to handle logging in with keys better. You can set user name and password for login, or if you type the username in theprompt once the session has been started it will use a key loaded into Pageant. If, however, you just put the user name in and no password in the configuration the user name is ignored, so it won't automatically login without interaction - well, only when using a password. Ctrl and PgUp/PgDn for switching between tabs would be nice too.
  • Great app. It would be great if there was the option of importing devices from a csv or txt file
  • Nice job. I've not been able to find something as good a PuttyCM, and now you've recreated it. Brilliant. I like that you've added support for WinSCP too. Kudos. Here's my wishlist for this: - I'd like to be able to adjust the location of the toolbars top of the screen to use up less space. They look like they should be moveable, but they aren't. - Add a "Close all" option to the right-click menu on a tab. There is a button on the standard toolbar, but I don't use the other buttons on this bar so I've closed the toolbar. - Add a "close this and all to the right" option (more useful to me than close all) - With PuTTY 0.64 they added an option to share a connection if one already exists. So based on this, the option to not reissue the login details when cloning a session would be useful (but still run the macros). - When tiling multiple tabs, an option to automatically resize them all. - an option to just automatically tile all open tabs, and then to un-tile them all again Keep up the good work. This app is going to be the go-to app for PuTTY users.
  • Nice Application but my putty sessions run outside of the session manager window and not inside the tabs. Minimizing and then restoring the manager causes my putty window to move off the top of my screen and I can't drag it back. Have to kill the session manager and then restart..
  • AWESOME!!! I've been a longtime fan of PuTTY Connection Manager and have looked here and there for anything that tries to replace it since it isn't maintained anymore. What a pleasant surprise to see that you decided to create something like that! Thank you so much! The only comparison between the two is that in PuTTyCM I was able to export my database into an XML file. I see that in MPManager I can import my sessions from an XML, but I don't see being able to export to an XML file. Is that something that will be developed or is it there and I just can't see it?
  • Thanks for your software.
  • great soft! I think that I will use it. But, please, add a some functions, like: 1. Saving options after closing a program. I often use telnet protocol, and when I close and open MultiPutty Manager, my default protocol is SSH =(. Also, it is a problem with View options. I don't want to see a Multi Session command string, and I closed this string in options. After restart - the string in my screen again =( Maybe I'm doing something wrong? 2. Please, give us a function to moving Sessions Manager bar=) I'd Like to see it in right side of the screen. Thank you, man, for your work!

  • @vintage89 Thanks for your review. I'll add these functions in the next version. @ technosis, Thanks for your comment. The putty settings are stored in the Registry with a lot of parameters. I recommend using only one standard setting (Default Settings for example) and apply it for all sessions. In order to use this standard setting for all imported sessions from putty, you need to manually create one session which is using this standard setting so that this standard setting is remembered. Then we can import sessions from putty.

  • While this is a smooth looking option for multiple putty tabs, it seems to ignore some settings when importing sessions from putty. I am unable to use agent forwarding despite having configured it in a putty session before hand.

  • Easy to use, many features, I prefer this app than others.
