Or go to browse all file [http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=231732&package_id=280975] for experimental or special platform builds. == Install == === Windows === * Windows version comes as self extracting archive so you don't need anything else. * Download magicassistant-installer*.exe and run it. * Enter the directory where you want Magic Assistant to be installed and press "Extract" * Run "MagicAssistant/magicassistant.exe" executable. * You can create a shortcut on desktop for later use by dragging the magicassistant.exe and holding Alt button until "Create link/shortcut" message appears. === Linux and Mac === * You need Java to run the application ** Minimum Java required 1.6. Download sun java http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp ** 64 bit package requires 64 bit java * Linux Note: ** On some linux distos it require additional components to be installed, such as xulrunner, "sudo apt-get install xulrunner-1.9.2" to install it ** If you have 64 bit os, use 64 bit package, not the default, that would be loaded if you just press Download. Go to Files sections to download it directly * Unzip downloaded magic assistant archive into directory where other installed program usually reside ** Note: it won't run from archive. ** Note: zip already contains parent folder named MagicAssistant, so you don't need to create a parent folder * Run "MagicAssistant/magicassistant" executable. * All your data would be stored in $user_home/MagicAssistantWorkspace.
