0.2.0.0 comes with the following changes:

  • Removed Default Tray Menu
  • Add fix for Windows 11 Dev Build 22494
  • Add "Start with Windows", "Check for Updates", and "Donate" tray menu options

Disclaimer

PLEASE NOTE: MSEdgeRedirect is still BETA. Performance is still being improved. I have an upcoming improvement in a future build that will operate similarly to previous solutions, however, it will require both Edge and either Edge Beta, Dev, or Canary.

How to use:

  1. Launch the app
  2. (optional) Adjust settings by Left Clicking the notification icon image
  3. Relax, Anything that Windows opens in Edge should be redirected.

Known issues with this build:

  • Edge Beta, Dev, Canary support missing - [#3], fixed [aff418]
  • Updater opens wrong github project - No issue, fixed [6d3f7e]
  • Search Results Duplicate if Edge is already open - [#8], Will be fixed in ACTIVE MODE
  • Some Widgets still opening in Edge - [#12], likely fixed [e64527]
