Media Player Classic – Home Cinema (MPC-HC) is a lightweight, open-source audio and video player for Windows designed to provide high performance with minimal system resource usage. The software is known for its simple, classic interface inspired by early Windows Media Player versions while still offering advanced playback capabilities. It includes support for modern codecs such as H.264, HEVC, and AV1, as well as features like subtitle rendering, HDR playback, and hardware acceleration.
