This program will move the mouse cursor every 5 minutes. There is a dialogue box that appears to close the program out. This program was designed to keep computers from going into screen saver mode and/or keeping a workstation from locking.

User Reviews

  • Moving the mouse is very good, but the OK button is very, very, very annoying, and very very useless. I like to have the mouse move by itself so that my *application* would not go to sleep, but the OK button steals the focus, so my application would fall asleep!!! What is the point of displaying the OK button??? This is not a good programming practice. At least make it configurable if it is that intrusive. Very frustrated. Have not seen such a bad programming for a long time.
  • It's a good proof of concept, but it's not useful in practice because it stops working after 5 minutes. The dialog box is too intrusive. In fact, it's useless, since the program could be controlled entirely through the tray icon. Please remove the dialog box altogether (or allow the user to configure whether they want to see it or not), and allow the program to run continuously (without the user having to cancel the "script is paused" thing every 5 minutes). With it running continuously and unattended in the background (just nudging the mouse once every 5 minutes), I could use it and it would be very useful.
