The folder "DevelopmentFor_2_1_0" contains snapshots published while developing Moritz 2.1.0. This new release should support the generation of input files for the tool Mscgen (http://www.mcternan.me.uk/mscgen/) that is used by Doxygen (www.doxygen.org) for adding message sequence charts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Message_sequence_chart). Different to nassishneiderman diagrams or activity diagrams message sequence charts are not used to represent the whole algorithm with all its possible decision and loop paths. They describe how a function or method is used to fulfill a special use case. Controlled by the specific input data only a part of the function is used as well as specific parts of the called functions or methods. Thus the the source project used to generate message sequence charts has to be modified to log how the functions or methods are used if a root function or method is stimulated appropriate to a use case. The planed extension of Moritz should generated the modified sources. In addition a special library will be provided that contains the log functions and saves the logged data as xml file. While Moritz 2.0.0 is not compatible to Mortiz 1.x.y Moritz 2.1.0 should be compatible to Moritz 2.0.0. For a normal user who is not modifying the content of the language packs and who is using Moritz 2 to generate nassishneiderman diagrams or activity diagrams no change should be necessary. Posts in the folder "DevelopmentFor_2_1_0" should be done to give interested users the chance to test this. Furthermore the generation of message sequence charts will be shown once the first version is postable. Please decompress the snapshots independently from the main release and use it to test it. If you have doubts or questions or if you find bugs please ad a post in the forum. Best regards, Eckard Klotz Snapshot_2_0_1: Contains new binaries and the already posted patches but no content to generate message sequence charts. Snapshot_2_0_2: Contains new binaries, extended features for C/Cpp (other languages will follow) and some tutorials.
