[!WARNING] ETS2 v1.58 has made the ACC unstable. BE AWARE! It is in the reworks. This issue is just not as important as some of the other known issues
added:
- accurate hill estimation for cc and limiter.
- added a feed-forward system for the hill angle to prevent drifting when going over steep hills.
- ego_path now gets wider as you turn. this improves the vehicle detection in corners.
- scaling for the CC_panel
- reintroduced a color change when switching to limiter in settings.
fixed:
- The ACC tends to overreact when a lag spike happens in MP. (not fully fixed yet)
- bug where you couldn't start the CC when the engine is off or the vehicle is stationary.
- reduced lag from impacting vehicle speeds in MP
- improved CC weight tuning.
- fixed the limiter where it wouldn't accommodate according to the actual speed on a long-term base.
- updated ETS2LA plugin:
- improved classification of trailers in MP, linking both trailers and tractors to each other.
- improved distance calculation for MP.
[!NOTE] This new version of the plugin doesn't support anything under v1.57
- error with root.iconify() fixed.
- removed the debug .png image.
- optimized ETS2_checker_MonoCruise.exe for less ram usage and making it faster. (13.1MB -> 10.6MB)
- lowered the AEB sound volume
known:
- The installer can be flagged for having a trojan. this is a false positive and just reckless coding of the older ETS2 checker for booting up MonoCruise when ETS2 launches. V1.1 won't have this issue.
- The big toolbar on top of the window. This is a temporary switchback from DPI aware UI before switching to the new UI module.
- the ACC crashes into people sometimes because the trailers aren't being detected... this is a known issues with the ETS2LA plugin.
I finished working on an updated CC_panel and have also been working on an updater and a popup system. These are all using PySide6 (which is WAY better than Tkinter). This will come in the next update. Might take a bit to fully get ready as i'm fully rewriting everything to be more structured.
