DownloadMocha is a feature-rich JavaScript test framework running on Node.js and in the browser, making asynchronous testing simple and fun. Mocha tests run serially, allowing for flexible and accurate reporting, while mapping uncaught exceptions to the correct test cases. Hosted on GitHub. Mocha runs in the browser. Every release of Mocha will have new builds of ./mocha.js and ./mocha.css for use in the browser. Mocha is the most-depended-upon module on npm and Mocha is an independent open-source project, maintained exclusively by volunteers. Given Mocha’s use of function expressions to define suites and test cases, it’s straightforward to generate your tests dynamically. No special syntax is required — plain ol’ JavaScript can be used to achieve functionality similar to “parameterized” tests, which you may have seen in other frameworks.
