Finally there is the shiny new version of the mjpegtools, called 2.0.0 release.

There are updates and patches for a lot of programs so they work with newer libs and programs. 
mpeg2enc, y4mdenoise and yuvdenoise did get some bigger updates, along with a lot of smaller updates for the other programs.

The mjpegtools-2.0.0-1.i586.rpm RPM is built on a opensuse 11.4 x32. 

The mjpegtools-2.0.0-mingw-bin.tar.bz2  are built with mingw and work on a Windwos OS. And are tested with Windows 7. Should work on other Versions as well. This version ist built without SDL, this means noch yuvplay, lavplay and glav. 
The mjpegtools-2.0.0-mingw-bin.tar.bz2 is a extended Build with support for SDL, lavplay, yuvplay will work, but not glav which needs GTK
