Full change list (grouped by area) ## Capture & Task Editing - Quick capture ignores late audio or save completion from an earlier session after the capture window has reopened. - Mobile quick capture adds a Note field. Text from the field and `/note:` syntax merges instead of one source replacing the other. - Android keeps the title and Save controls visible while the expanded More panel scrolls above the keyboard. The syntax reference now stays behind a compact help toggle. - Task forms submit changed fields only, reducing the chance that an older draft overwrites a newer edit. - Deleting a section now explains that its tasks remain and move to No Section. ## Tasks, Projects & Organization - Archived project views are read-only across desktop and mobile. Mindwtr disables completion, status, checklist, Focus, and nested row actions in those views. - Desktop bulk organize can assign selected tasks to a section when every task already belongs to the current project. - Desktop removes Duplicate and Convert to Reference from the inline editor footer; both remain in the task row menu. - Optional priority strips have clearer spacing on desktop, and assistive technology can identify collapsed priority state and task-detail controls. - Turning off Priorities or Time estimates also disables their quick-add parsing, suggestions, sorts, groups, calendar sizing, and widget behavior. Saved settings and task data return when you re-enable the feature. - Desktop sidebar entries can be hidden per device without changing their data or search access. - Desktop navigation shortcuts now open the full Next Actions list instead of Focus. - Task-to-section conversion now commits as one guarded mutation, so interrupted or concurrent edits cannot leave half-converted data. ## Review, Recurrence & Calendar - Mobile Daily Review includes all eligible tasks in large libraries and refreshes at local midnight. Desktop Review and Timeline refresh on the same boundary. - Recurrence edits preserve the series anchor, time zone, and supported rule metadata. - Desktop Timeline is an optional, read-only GTD view with day, week, and month zoom. It groups tasks by project, shows single-day tasks as dots, keeps titles in a fixed column, and exposes off-window navigation. - Timeline uses the selected calendar system and presents its task action to assistive technology. - Desktop calendar and Timeline fall back to an area's color when a project still uses the default grey. - Android builds the patched calendar module from source, preventing concurrent event writes from racing its date formatter. ## Sync, Attachments & Data Safety - Sync activation and backup restore keep a verified local attachment when a missing remote response cannot prove deletion. Cleanup waits for conclusive absence. - Switching sync locations can finish when an attachment was already missing from the candidate location, while a file that disappears during verification still blocks the switch. - Default-on GTD settings survive two-way sync with 1.2.5-rc.2 peers, while explicit opt-outs remain off. - Desktop WebDAV sends `Accept-Encoding: identity` through its HTTP layer so proxy compression does not weaken ETag checks. - Plaintext WebDAV works again with servers that return ETags but do not enforce conditional writes. Encrypted sync still requires the stronger check. - Sync encryption setup switches to the existing-passphrase flow as soon as connection testing discovers encrypted data. - WebDAV encryption transitions treat an oversized HTML response for a missing file as absence without weakening the concurrent-transition guard. - Android File Sync restores decorated temporary filenames to their exact expected names and still detects real concurrent writers. - Attachment sync and restore preserve the last proven content authority through missing, replaced, and restored copies. - Mobile keeps attachments available when optional native installation support is absent, including Expo Go and compatible fallback builds. ## Mobile - Android shares from other apps reach the capture sheet with their file attached, including after a cold start. Failed shares now show an error instead of opening an empty capture flow. - Mobile project details keep notes, attachments, area assignment, sections, and archived-state controls consistent during concurrent edits. - Focus, Review, search, task rows, and attachment actions received accessibility and large-library reliability fixes. ## Desktop & Web - The self-hosted web app can fetch and open Cloud-backed attachments when sync encryption is off. Other browser sync backends still show the unsupported notice. - Fresh self-hosted web sessions can prefill the Cloud URL from the same origin or `MINDWTR_DEFAULT_CLOUD_URL` without overwriting an existing choice. - Settings links to the official desktop and mobile video tutorials. - Desktop search filters use localized labels, disabled Timeline routes resolve consistently, and attachment viewers handle browser object URLs without leaking stale data. ## Self-Hosted Cloud - Cloud deployments can read `MINDWTR_CLOUD_AUTH_TOKENS` from a protected file. - `/ready` verifies the original writable data mount without recreating a missing directory. `/health` remains a non-mutating liveness check and the released image healthcheck uses it correctly. - Cloud storage distinguishes a recreated directory from the original even when the filesystem reuses an inode. - Docker app builds preserve release identity, align security headers with the hosted PWA, and pin build inputs. ## Distribution & Developer Tools - The Arch beta package is now `mindwtr-beta-bin`; the legacy `mindwtr-bin-beta` package remains available during the documented manual migration period. - Release automation serializes tag-scoped jobs, fails closed on ambiguous Google Play commits, isolates Flathub generator dependencies, and keeps FOSS workflows reproducible from the release tag. - MCP Cloud mode now supports the added core task behavior, with expanded service conformance coverage. The MCP package version remains independent from the app version. - Dependency pins preserve mobile query parsing and ensure the patched Expo calendar source is compiled into Android builds.
