Great software. It's very easy to use and the latest update is nice since now you can choose your own image for thumbnails if one can't be found or don't want to use the screenshot scraper. I would recommend this software to anyone since you can make your library nice and organized with it.

I have been using MC for about 2 years and scraping all my media saves me considerable time when I start a new Kodi installation. One of the features I value more, is the ability to scrape the aspect ratio. I use this information to properly identify every movie in my collection. I understand that once played, Kodi updates the aspect ratio. Highly recommended with great support

Media Companion is the most extensive media scraper for Kodi. I have used almost every single media scraper out there, and this one WINS!! Kodi's inbuilt media scraper is not ideal for cataloging metadata for your library, why? cos you risk losing the system drive and thus losing your entire metadata. People should immediately move to Media Companion and support the software and the developer. This is truly one of the best Kodi supplementary software out there. The dev is extremely active, and updates codes, features and fuctions to the software very often.. infact as soon as someone requests a feature he surely gets on it. 100% support this project.

I love Media Companion and i use it over the top! Great respect for Rob, i do not envy him, who's working on it all by himself, improving, patching and fixing for us almost every day. I recently started using Media Companion to source metdata. I have used NextPVR for a couple of years to record and playback OTA TV. Recently found a new station in my area that plays full length movies. So I added the Movies plugin to NextPVR and tried a number of media scraper/organizers. I landed on Media Companion because I found it easy to use without too many bells and whistles. I now have a well appointed menu display for my movies. Had a minor problem. Submitted a ticket and got a super fast solution to my problem.

I have been using Media Companion for some time now. I have tried others, but always come back. It would be nice if captions download was added like some others, but for ease of use, it works great. The artwork downloader is very robust and the handling of tv shows is a big plus. The developers are quick to respond when adding a bug and most are quickly resolved. I would recommend you give it a shot. For those of you looking for the x86 version, do not use the big "Download" button. Go to the files tab and choose a version. It will contain both x86 and x64.
