I built MDViewer because I needed a fast, distraction-free way to read Markdown files on Mac — without opening an editor. It launches instantly, renders Mermaid diagrams and code blocks out of the box, and the Git history feature lets me browse file changes without leaving the app. If you just need to read .md files, not edit them, give it a try.
