McPad, by itself, is an optimized version of Notch's classic server. What sets it apart is its extensive list of free plugins. Just download the .cs plugin file, plop it into your plugin folder, and voila!

Writing plugins for McPad is easy - you don't even need a compiler! McPad dynamically compiles all .cs files. If you think you're out of luck just because you know Java, think again! The McPad compiler is lenient towards Java code.
