Scantree.php is a fix for an issue with PHP7.2 which may cause blank file listings. Copy the file to the codebase folder of your Mara installation. Version 7.5 is now available. This fixes a few bugs and adds some capability: Race hazard with drag & drop uploads fixed. (Sometimes limited upload to one file where multiple files were selected.) Scalable vector graphic (.svg) file format now supported. Useful for resizable diagrams, etc. Optionally, scripts and stylesheets in or linked from the page head section may be executed, in addition to those in the master head section of theme.php. CKEditor upgraded to the 4.11.1 release. (4.9 included for backward compatibilty, you may delete the ck49 folder if not needed.) A Windows Portable version which allows for testing of websites on a local computer without the need for hosting space, is available from https://iwrconsultancy.co.uk/download#maracms This is not always as up-to-date as the main version, and is not advised for use as a public-facing website since its security is deliberately reduced for easy testing. It may be helpful in evaluating the product or testing websites built with Mara. ---------------------------------- To use the production release: Unzip to a php-capable webhost. Navigate to the hosting URL, eg www.mysite.com and check that the site displays with top banner and sidebar menu. Now add '?login' to the url, eg www.mysite.com?login and login with 'admin' and 'changeme' Follow the instructions to set a fresh admin password. Optionally, create one or more additional users with suitable editing permissions. Enjoy! Requirements are an Apache or equivalent webserver (LightTPD, Nginx etc are also suitable) and a PHP version from 5.3 to 7.1.1 Most webhosts will meet these requirements. NO database, and NO installation script required. HTTPS or HTTP mode with no reconfiguring. (SSL webserver capability and certificate required for HTTPS, as per usual.) Portable code.
