Madamiru is a free, open-source multimedia player designed to display multiple videos, images, and audio files simultaneously. Unlike conventional media players, it organizes content into a customizable grid with dynamically selected media. Users can create groups of files that automatically shuffle during playback, producing continuously changing multimedia arrangements. The software supports video formats such as MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, and WebM through GStreamer. It also handles common image formats, animated images, and audio files, including FLAC, MP3, and WAV. Embedded subtitles in MKV files are supported, while external subtitle files are not. Written in Rust and available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, Madamiru provides a flexible environment for multimedia viewing and automated playback.
