LocoNet Monitor version 2.4 bundled with parser DLLs:

  • locope1 - all that is in Digitrax' public documentation
  • SV - System Variable programming messages
  • fred - FREMO FRED and FREMO FREDI test software messages
  • fremo_stw - Messages used in the context of the FREMO signalling project
  • digitrax - big slot info

The above files are:

  • LoconetMonitor_2.4_Source.zip - source code of program and DLLs
  • LoconetMonitor_and_Dlls_2.4_Win32_EXE.zip - only the plain EXE and DLL files, to be installed manually
  • LoconetMonitor_2.4_Win32_Setup.zip - installation program, use this!

Changes since 2.3:

  • locope1.dll: Fixed bug, crash on displaying programmer slot.
  • LoconetMonitor.exe: Added display of version number in About Library dialog.
  • LoconetMonitor.exe: Fixed bug, *.dllX is no longer a library file name that is loaded.
  • LoconetMonitor.exe now searches parser DLLs in the installation directory instead of the current directory.
  • fred.dll: Added 0xF7 as LOG_STRING opcode. (since 2.3.0.1)
  • locope1.dll: Throttle-Id in SL_RD_DATA and WR_SL_DATA displays as id2:id1 now. (since 2.3.0.2)
  • Added digitrax.dll
  • locope1.dll: Fixed bug, order of DSTH:DSTL was swapped in OPC_PEER_XFER
  • HTML help: fixed external links to run in default browser rather than inside help viewer

Known Problems:

  • If you have installed 2.*, please first uninstall before running the installer of 2.3, for some reason not all DLLs are exchanged otherwise.
  • LoconetMonitor does not free memory of receive messages if not explicitly requested by the user (with increasing memory in PCs this hurts less every year...)
