LocalContrast is for enhancing image contrast locally.
Typical use case: making photos from books, where brightness/contrast is not homogenous.
LocalContrast uses awesome ctmf.c+ctmf.h (slightly modified) from Simon Perreault.
Call the executable "locc" like this:
./locc <infile.jpg> <outfile.jpg>
options:
-b: generate grayscale output
-c: contrast stretch factor
-r: rotate 180°
-q: jpeg quality of output
-t <num>: threshold, will generate tiff g4 b/w files, <num> could be typically 127.5
-3: generate tiff g4 b/w, with three levels ordered "dither"
