  • If you ever stopped using this app due to stability issues, now is the time to give it a second try. lmms 0.4.7 release eliminated all the segfaults errors I experienced previously. Great job guys, keep up the good work.
  • There is no need to shell out money for a commercial product when you can donate it to creators of excellent open source projects. LMMS does it all.
  • Just found it and installed on Ubuntu. Looks great! Now trying it out on Win XP.
  • So good. then you really get into it and have to upgrade it to great!
  • It's quite simple to install and use if compared to other similar software (like rosegarden or ardour2). A few missing features and bugs are the only bad points for this marvelous piece of music software.
  • Absolutely amazing project. One of the greatests for Linuxm OS
  • I really like LMMS even though I use FL Studio as my main sequencer. LMMS can be buggy at times and I wish it had a midi export but overall it works really well. Can't beat the price (Free).
  • I really like this product. Im used to using FL studio. And i think this Program is easier to use. you cant do as much with it like vocals (to my knowlegde) but besides that its really nice.
  • I recently discovered lmms and I'm quite impressed! There are few DAWS applications like this for the LINUX OS that are as complete as lmms is. It's got a few "issues" but for the most part, it works very, very well. Note: to get the most from lmms, be sure to install a "Real TIme" kernel! I sincerely hope the lmms devs will continue to improve and support this application and not let it "go by the wayside" as so many other promising LINUX DAWS projects have.
  • I love it !!
  • Keep it up!
  • Very promising music composition suite. The project files are text-based and in XML format. Uncompressed project files (MMP) can be edited with a text editor, so that buggy modules can be removed easily. The many features deserve and require a full-blown article of its own. All that in under 20 MB!
  • Easy and cute DAW. The first decent open-source DAW under Windows. I like the fact lots of samples and software synthetizers are bundled with the exe. It makes composition straighforward.
  • Impressively powerful for an open-source DAW. Its cross-platform nature means it could be a big contender in the future.
