Linux Swap Mod: Adaptive Linux Memory & Workload Optimizer
Linux Swap Mod is an open-source Linux performance optimization system designed to improve responsiveness on resource-constrained computers and demanding development workstations.
Rather than applying a single static swap configuration, Linux Swap Mod continuously evaluates system conditions and adapts memory-management behavior according to CPU load, RAM utilization, system load, and the applications currently running.
The system combines Linux kernel memory tuning with intelligent process prioritization. Applications are organized into workload tiers so important interactive software can receive greater priority while less critical background processes remain less disruptive. Special recognition is provided for AI and machine-learning workloads, development environments, web browsers, communication software, system services, and general desktop applications.
