           README for G0LGS's m_filter and f_filter for XFBB 7.01+

These filters are based on ones that I wrote in Nov/Dec 1999 for use with
XFBB V7.00g25 and have been used at GB7LGS and GB7GLO since late Dec 1999.

The filters use PERL V5.00.

They have been modified for the later versions of XFBB, I have used them
with XFBB V7.02g and 7.04j which is currently (20 March 2005) in use at
GB7LGS.

These filters are provided with no warranty, use them entirely at your own
risk. (They work for me, but if it happens to break your system it's not
my Fault).

INSTALLATION

WARNING: This will replace (without creating any backup) any existing
m_filter or f_filter you already have inatalled, so make sure you have a
backup copy of them just in case).

Check the Paths in the Makefile, edit m_filter.cfg and f_filter.cfg to
suit your requirements then and do:

	make install
	make install-cfg

You may then need to restart XFBB.
