Note:Upgrading from version 1.0 to new version 1.1
1.Download the new version from Sourceforge(LMS 1.1-Setup.msi).
2.Make a copy of present database before uninstalling by going to folder C:\Users\user-name\AppData\Roaming\LibraryManagementSystem and copy the file librarydb.db to another location.
3.Uninstall the old version software.
4.Install the new version.
5.Restore the old database by going to Menu->Manage Database->Import Database and select old database file librarydb.db
Step 2 and 5 are needed only if you want the old bookdetails database available in the new version.All information used by the software is stored in this database.
Features
- Books can be searched by their Title, Description or Author and also books can be seen in appropriate categories.
- Each book is added with a unique Identification number and other details including a Shelf Number which helps to locate the book.
- We can also use Google Books to fetch details of a book from Internet.
- A cover image and PDF eBook can also be attached with the Book details.
- The Books can be issued and Submitted in a fast manner.
- The Library members can be managed more efficiently.
- We can easily get information like who took a particular book or which are the books taken by a specific Library member.
- Packages with a monthly fee and maximum book restriction can be assigned to library members.
- User Login with different permissions.
- Export tables to excel file.
- Export database file.

Waste of time on putting loads of books, software crash each time and no support!! Horrible time at library! To be honest, I will recommend to stay way from this buggy software.

This is a great software. But, I am getting an error message. "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. ..... Failed to enable constraints. One or more row contain values violating non-null, unique, or foreign key constraints" What can I do for this? Help me. dr.nilusha@icloud.com

Do not Download, Avoid it!! --------- I downloaded this software after searching for whole day. I was very excited, it was installed in my laptop and I able to use the software. But once I installed it in our school library, it crashed the system, and not only the system but also the server of our school having all data of our school. I was very embarrassed and got very bad response from the principal. IT team has confirmed this software to be the reason. There was no reply from the guy, how can you expect it for free!! Must be a virus, I almost lost my job due to this reason, now regretting badly for my decision as my school has to suffer for this. Please avoid this for download if you want to save your precious data. And report this software so other do not get this kind of situations. Later I released this is not a professional software for library, just developed by school guys. Very bad!! No one to blame! Avoid it, if you want peace of mind. There is many other software, looking for free not worth it!! I again warn you to download this.
