This is a simple port of Timor's NMEALib to using autotools. I didn't write it and I probably broke the Windows version but the code works in Unix/Ubuntu.

I am not sure if Timor is interested in reclaiming this work so I am putting it here where he can find it. And in his spirit of sharing a good working library you can have it too.
