Legend

Legend is an older Android framework for intercepting Java methods without requiring root access. It was designed to work across both Dalvik and early ART runtime environments. Hooks can be defined through annotations or registered directly through the framework API. Replacement methods can inspect or alter behavior and still invoke the original implementation when needed. Intended uses include dynamic debugging, hot fixes, runtime monitoring, Dex inspection, and application experimentation. The documented compatibility covers Android versions from 4.2 through 6.0.1 and selected alternative Android runtimes. Development has ended, and the repository directs users toward the newer Whale hooking framework.
