This folder contains the installer for the 32 bit version of Lazarus 4.2 This installation is for all supported 32 bit versions of Windows. (It can also be used for 64 bit versions of Windows, but for those the 64 bit installer is recommended, including for developing 32 bit apps)

All installers are code signed. The signature uses the name of the Foundation:

The default installer is:
lazarus-4.2-fpc-3.2.2-win32.exe
You need this file, if you want to work on any Windows 32 bit version.
The installers include FPC 3.3.2 and they include the Lazarus help files. -
Add-On for building 64 bit Windows applications:
lazarus-4.2-fpc-3.2.2-cross-x86_64-win64-win32.exe
This file is an add-on. You need to first install the "default installer".
This installer adds the ability to create 64 bit apps from a 32 bit Computer.
In order to run those created 64 bit apps you will need a 64 bit Computer and Windows.
The 32 bit IDE (if run on a 64bit Computer) has limited abilities to debug such 64 bit apps (only gdb). -
Add-On for WinCE development:

This installer adds the ability to create 32 bit apps for WinCE. -
