Very easy-to-use converter, I use it to convert FLACs from Tidal -> into MP3. Since streamrip (rip) doesn't convert the FLACs into MP3 on command (with FFmpeg), I use this program to post-process the downloads. My Amazfit watch only plays MP3, and we also have a car radio that does the same. I haven't gotten any weird sound effects, and it's very quiet and straightforward. It also works very quickly, and effectively. The output files are perfect, with ID3 tags intact.

Can convert to various formats and works well.

Amazing software! did exactly what i needed! very easy to convert batches of files to mp3 and such. I like the little noises too! adds a lot of personality that a lot of programs dont have. Would very highly recommend for anyone trying to convert files to mp3!

Best tool I could find to convert opus to mp3 and I love the sounds it plays, it really gives the program personality.

For those complaining about some warning sounds and messages, remember the quote "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth". This is not only a free, open source and lightweight audio encoder, with support for a large number of audio formats, it also has a cool interface. I have been able to optimize hundreds of audio files with a good output quality and without having bugs or complications in the renaming of output file names that other encoders have in the batch convertion of multiple folders.
