It is usually hard to predict how long one should keep one's lasers/miners going before an asteroid depletes.
You turn it off too early and stay with like 213 units of Veldspar left in asteroid.
You turn it off too late and you waste your time mining already depleted asteroid.
This tool is ment for increasing mining efficiency in Eve Online by dealing with above problem.
It is done by calculation of the exact time needed to mine an Asteroid of a specific ore type and size.
Calculated time is then presented and countdown is started.
10 seconds before predicted asteroid depletion, sound notification starts and then exact moment of lasers/miners should be stoped is sygnalized.
