For the analyses of patch-clamp data (obtained from Igor/MME) using Python.
The following modules are the minimum requirements:
- Scipy (including numpy, matplotlib)
- h5py
In addition, following modules are required in order to fully make use of KS Workbench:
- scikit-learn (for some fitting algorithms)
- rpy2 (for some statistical analyses)
Features
- Opens Igor-MME wave files
- Calculates resistances from test pulse stimuli/responses
- Detects action potentials from the recordings
- Extracts Up-/Down- state information from sweeps of recordings
- Assistance by fairly nice plot functionality to help you verify the algorithms
- Easy-to-use data models that can be used during analyses and upon saving the results
