Knockoff is a browser extension that reduces low-trust and pseudo-brand listings while shopping on Amazon. It examines product brands locally and classifies them with personal lists, curated databases, community data, and readable naming heuristics. Users can hide, dim, or label filtered products without permanently removing access to them. Three filtering levels range from blocking known problem brands to allowing only recognized brands. Interactive badges let shoppers trust a brand, block it, reveal an item once, or report an incorrect decision. The extension requires no account, performs no tracking, and makes no server request during the normal shopping path. It supports Amazon marketplaces through Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, although its language heuristics are tuned primarily for English.
