WATT is a interpreter based procedural programming language for developing MS-DOS console programs, that can run in MS-DOS 6.22, MS-DOS under Windows 95/98, Command Prompt of Microsoft Windows (e.g. Windows XP), and from Bootable* USB flash drives that have a MS-DOS partition.

*note: USB flash drives can only be bootable, if the motherboard recognizes the USB flash drive in BIOS booting settings. This has nothing to do with the default OS that the motherboard normally loads up.

(currently a work in progress)

Features

  • Variable identifiers, scope ( Local or Global ), and data write protection can be changed during a WATT program script execution
  • Universal compatibility with all PCs that have MS-DOS ( no special graphic video or sound cards required )
