Kiro — an Arch-based Linux distribution, curated for daily use.
Built by Erik Dubois (creator of ArcoLinux) with Claude AI as dev partner. Calamares installer, opinionated defaults, 13 desktops on demand, userland kept close to upstream Arch.
Selling points

- ArchLinux Tweak Tool (ATT) — modular GTK4 control center: kernels, services, profiles, package audits
- nemesis_repo + chaotic-aur — curated packages and AUR binaries
- Private by default — no telemetry, firewalld on, Timeshift ready

Kiro Linux, I am addicted to it, cannot get enough of it. Using Xfce edition, without any other desktop environment installed. Made my own ISO with Kiro-ISO-Builder, that Erik and his AI companion Claude made together. In fact this whole OS is made with Claude, with Erik checking and looking over the work Claude had done. This is how AI with human intervention should work and Erik and Claude have done a brilliant job. Kiro Linux is Arch based and the wonderful thing is Erik, who has dedicated his servers for updates, whilst AUR is being repaired. You get the Chaotic AUR, not only that you get Cachy OS Repository and am able to use Cachy OS Kernels. Tweak the system to your liking with Arch-Linux-Tweak Tool, that Erik and Claude has added stuff for Kiro Linux, though I heard can use same settings in Cachy OS too. I cannot get enough of this Kiro Linux. Not only do you get a really fast OS, but you're able to learn all about Kiro with Erik's excellent documentation, not just in written form, but over five thousand videos, even those videos with Arco-Linux, as the structure of Arch has not changed, it is still the same. I'm blown away with the hard work and dedication that Erik has put into this. I urge anyone who wants to learn Arch to come over to Kiro Linux, watch Erik's brilliant library of videos on YouTube, read his documentation on his site too. Cannot recommend it enough, thank you Erik and Claude.
