To validate this post, I'm getting the same response from KeePassSync "Invalid

started today.

I can sign in to your website via browser using the same username/password

Did you change the way KeePass/Other programs should connect?

You can use WebDav if you are willing to pay the "Small Business" plan for
your dropbox account.
my current (free) workaround:
I opened a new account on https://www.mydrive.ch and
use the standard synchronization in KeePass, which can handle WebDav and now
manually hit the sync (once synced, it appears in the File->Sync->Recent
Files)
enlo, might I ask how you reference the file's url on myDrive? I set up an
account, added my file, but cannot seem to find what that file's URL actually
is. Thanks

dpwhite, follow the instructions to setup mydrive as a network drive: http://www.mydrive.ch/en/help#webdav

BTW, if you happen to have access to an FTP site it may be easier to set up on
multiple computers. I now prefer the FTP setup instead of the mydrive solution
since there is no need to map the network drive on each computer...

This is my personal solution with an FTP server.
I have a FileZilla server running on my home computer and dyndns name
(Filezilla Server)
(Dyn DNS)
There are many free FTP that can be useful for this purpose as alternative.
So having an FTP is enough for using included Keepass synchronization.
THIS WILL SYNCHRONIZE EACH TIME YOU SAVE DATABASE
Go to Tools->Triggers
Add... (a new trigger)
Set a Name like "Sync DB" and let Default options as they are on the first "tab"
On the second Tab "Events" you should Add one "Saved database file" -> Contains -> "YOUR DB NAME ONLY" (Could be Keepass.kdbx)
On the third Tab "Conditions" Nothing (Leave Empty)
On the Fourth Tab "Actions" you require 2 ACTIONS (in this order)
a. Change Trigger on/of state -> Toggle
b. Synchronize active database with a file/URL ->
ftp://yourftpserver.com/Keepass.kdbx (here your database name)
There are tons of tweaks and improvements you can add.
IMPORTANT: Remember to copy the database file manually the first time to your
FTP. It won't work without it.
This was the final solution for me, I think I won't use Keepass Sync anymore.
Hope it works for you too :) !

Sorry, I missed that you should enter the FTP USERNAME and FTP PASSWORD on
step
Fourth Tab "Actions" -> b.

Excellent job Heros! I just tried and your trigger solution works well with
Mydrive and ftp. The database now synchronizes automatically each time I save
it, exactly the way it did when digitalbucket used to work...
The only inconvenience I see so far is that you have to manually install the
trigger in each copy of keepass since this info is not saved in the database
itself... If there were a way to save the trigger information in the database
that would make it perfect!

When you press the 'Save' button, KeePass will automatically upload the new
database file to the server (same location as before, i.e. overwriting the
previous one).

Ops, my last post mean: first database on ftp server. With backup plugin,
example: DataBaseBackup, create local backup auto. This method is reverse, but
don't need trigger... :)

You're right totya7, the 'trigger on/off state - toggle' worked initially but
then stopped working, presumably because it got toggled into a dead end "off"
at some point.
It would seem from the detailed pricing chart at the top of that DigitalBucket
page <http://www.digitalbucket.net/Pages/digitalbucket.net%20Plan%20Compariso
n.pdf> that API access IS included for free users. Look near the bottom of
the second page. Maybe that has changed though and the document hasn't been
updated yet.

Hi
I use this plugint without error, but today I get this error message:
"Cannot retreive online information from digitalbucket.net service (user

and
"Invalid online provider options"
Thanks!

Same problem here with digitalbucket.net account...
Same problem here. I wrote an email to Digitalbucket. I am copyint it along
with reply here, hope it helps to resolve the issue.
_XXXXX,
We have made many changes to our API recently. That might be the reason for
the errors. You may want to contact the KeePass sync service provider.

This is killing me. Any idea when they will fix this?

dpwhite, follow the instructions to setup mydrive as a network drive:

yo do not need to set up a network drive, keepass can handle webdav urls on
it's own.
The URL is https://webdav.mydrive.ch/ and then
the path in your own virtual space.
If you placed it in the root folder with the name mykeepass.kdbx, your url
would be https://webdav.mydrive.ch/mykeepass.kdbx
you then can open the file from the web using the File->Open->Open URL
_dialog
OR you syncronize your local file using _File->Synchronize->Synchronize with
URL
Thanks enlo! I like the non-mounted drive solution for now. Still I'd prefer
the digital bucket interface. Cheers!
Still no "ETA" on a DigitalBucket fix yet?

Ops, my last post mean: first database on ftp server. With backup plugin,

Ops two: Heroselohim method does not work, bad method, this is save databese
only once!
Because trigger ON/OFF state=toggle, this is simple set to off "Sync DB"
trigger.
To work, need two triggers, second trigger change to first trigger state to
ON.
This is works for me.
You're right totya7, the 'trigger on/off state - toggle' worked initially but
then stopped working, presumably because it got toggled into a dead end "off"
at some point.
Follow the instructions at the bottom of this page (preventing infinite loop):
http://keepass.info/help/kb/kb091127_trigger_examples.html for the supposed more robust
solution.
The the biggest problem with this method: stored password is unencrypted...
password is not stored in KeePass database.
KeePassSync is better, this is store password in KeePass database.
Digitalbucket I think does not allow API access of free users ater 14 days: h
ttp://www.digitalbucket.net/Members/Pricing.aspx
Amazon S3 price is very low, if anyone want store only keepass database. :)
