  • All I can say is: so far so good. I was looking for a way to protect a few sensitive attachments within KeePass' memory, but to my surprise KeePass doesn't natively provide an option to protect attachments as it does for other types of items like passwords and special fields. I can understand that giving the user an option to encrypt attachments may be detrimental if the database has many attachments or just a few but big ones. Regardless, there is no real argument for the lack of an optional feature to use a function which is already implemented for mostly everything else. This is where KeeParanoia comes in, and it perfectly does what KeePass doesn't want to. Script kiddies can no longer peer into your attachments without putting a bit more effort into it. I have tested this plugin extensively and I haven't had any issue with the database or its contents, regardless of using KeePass for Windows or any of its other ports. Still, keep in mind that although KeeParanoia gives you that extra layer of security, best practices still apply.
  • Great Plugin, this activates the MemoryProtection for more fields instead of only the password. But you still have to hide the columns, except for the Title. This function should be available into KeePass native.
