The Kana Project
The Kana Project consists of Kana Warrior and Kana Card, two software programs to help beginning Japanese students learn hiragana and katakana. Kana Warrior is an arcade-style game, and Kana Card is a flashcard-style game.
Kana no Quiz
Kana no quiz is a little educational tool to memorize the transcription and pronunciation of Japanese kana (katakana & hiragana), presented as a quiz. It is written in Python and uses a GTK+ interface for a nice cross-paltform rendering!
Kana
Kana is a program to help you learn Hiragana and Katakana. You can get hints for characters and get statistics. It let's you save your own profile with characters, for example similar characters.
Kana Attacks!
This game teaches Japanese kana in a fun way. It is like a cross between Space Invaders and Typing of The Dead. Kana fall from the sky and you must shoot them before they reach your city. You blow them up by typing their romaji equivalent.
Kana Invaders
Teaches the Japanese Kana using a repetitive approach. You must quickly enter each Kana's romanji when it falls from the top of the screen. By the time you have completed all 30 levels you will know the romanji and pronunciation for every Kana character = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = UPDATE 2012-08-15: Software license has been updated to the MIT License!
