jSpamTrap

Implements a simple SMTP daemon that accepts any mail from any sender to any recipient (spam trap). All delivery attempts will be rejected but the mails can be processed anyhow. Can be extended with modules which do the processing of received mails.

can handle hundreds of connections per second
connection throtteling via iptables
rejects connections from IPs already on the blacklist
processing of mails is separated from receiving mails
optimized for receiving spam (and not to be RFC 821 compliant)
graphs connection statistics as in RRDTool
