JSignPdf is an open source Java application which adds digital signatures to PDF documents. It also contains Add-On for OpenOffice.org.

    Works a treat!! - shame the project has retired. I'm looking forwards to using this to sign batches of documents. Good instructions provided. Works quickly. I had to use trial and error to work out what sort of certificate I'd already created using Adobe Reader, but after that it was easy.
