What is JRescue?

JRescue is an ISO image that includes a variety of tools for maintaining a computer that requires it, acting as the spiritual successor to Xubuntu Rescue, a project I started in 2021 but discontinued due to lack of interest and to avoid potential issues with the Ubuntu branding. JRescue is installed on a USB drive using tools like Rufus or balenaEtcher and is based on the Debian distribution with the lightweight LXQt desktop environment.

JRescue is available for both 32-bit and 64-bit systems.
