2. Check the checksums:

4. Flash to a drive of your choice.

Use the linux command dd or download Balena Etcher which is fairly straight forward to use:

    % sudo dd if=joborun-halloween-ed.img of=/dev/sdX bs=1M status=progress ## (find X from sudo fdisk -l)

5. Expand the partiton

Use gparted or the like to expand the partition to your preferred size, add a swap partition or any other wanted partitions.
