What Is This? ------------- The main purpose of the ICPT software is to decrease the time wasted in downloading IONEX files from the ftp server from CODE and produce ∆VTEC maps for a period of days around a specific given date provided by the user. This files contains instructions on how to set up "ICPT" (IONEX CODE Processing Tool) on your workspace Configuring Your Workspace ================================== Configuring your workspace to run ICPT. Create a conda space and download Python 2.7 Download lastest python 2.7 on the Conda Space created (Linux) Install in your conda space: -numpy -scipy -basemap (https://matplotlib.org/basemap/) basemaps allows to generate maps. How To run -------------------------- 1. Install all the python libraries 2. Locate all files in one folder. 3. Open terminal in the same folder and enter conda enviroment 4. Write in the terminal "python principal.py" 5. write your desire event day: example year:2015 month:8 day:14 Now you can inspect the maps produced, analize them and hopefully do a great research.
