Conceived as an internet radio Shoutcast/Icecast client and DJ console IDJC has two main media players, a background track player, effects buttons, crossfader, webm, aac, ogg, and mp3 streaming, stream automation timers, aux input, voice and VoIP integration. Media file formats include: mp3, ogg, flac, wma, wav, m4a, m3u, xspf, pls, and cue sheet support, IRC track and station announcements, uses jack audio connection kit to provide a flexible audio chain.

Great piece of software for broadcasting radio shows on shoutcast. Better than anything available in the Windows world. Database integration is also possible as long as you know what you need to do. Proceeding with this software since version 0.8.7 all the way to 0.9.9 - Thank you for code and support during the last 13 years. Keep up the good work.

Best internet radio streaming solution for Linux hands down. And in some aspects better than SAM for Windows. I miss a few features like shuffling a playlist prior to starting streaming instead of the current endless random mode and time display for when tracks will start, but otherwise this works really well. Only drawback is the first setup with JACK, especially if you want to keep using PulseAudio for other apps.

Great DJ software for Linux. Being JACK-based is even a boon. Competes and does better than expensive commercial software (think SAM).

Seems to be a great tool for broadcasting, i download it but i can't get it on my MacBook Pro. its a little technical. Help!
