Hydronet Analyzer v5.0

1. Purpose

HydroNet Analyzer is a desktop tool for steady-state and transient pipeline analysis. It estimates hydraulic losses, pump operating point, surge response, waterhammer pressure, and exports plots and text files for each simulation.

2. Input Groups

Process Parameters

- Select the unit system and transient boundary condition.

- Enter flow rate, reservoir head, downstream reservoir head, and system static head.

Fluid Data

- Select fluid phase and fluid preset.

- Review or edit density, kinematic viscosity, and compressibility.

Pipeline Data

- Enter pipeline length, diameter, and roughness.

Elevation Data

- Use Edit Elevation Profile to enter multiple distance-elevation points.

- If no manual profile is saved, HydroNet uses a default flat profile.

Pump Data

- Choose Auto to generate a pump characteristic curve from the current system data.

- Choose Manual to edit the pump characteristic table directly.

- Reset Curve Data returns
