##

**Hundred Days Under Sea**, or **100dus**, is an open-source 3D underwater sea life and scenery application for Linux. It creates a living underwater world with animated fish, sea animals, underwater landscapes, imported 3D models, presets, and a modern setup interface.

## June 2026 Release

The June 2026 release is the second major release and marks the name change from **Glowcean-3D** to **Hundred Days Under Sea**.

This release removes the prepared slots for non-free models and replaces them with new own models created by the author, with major assistance from Rodin AI and Trellis2.

The underwater scenery has also been expanded with new hills and coral-decorated landscape elements.

A major highlight is the redesigned setup interface, now implemented in Qt Quick, which allows realtime changes for many sliders.

100dus is free and open-source software. The source code and included assets are distributed under the licenses listed in the project files.
