    I've been using Hostmon for over two years to monitor my entire IT infrastructure. When something goes offline, you hear about it. You can also discover the outage after the fact using the graphing features. I honestly love Hostmon, and I'm not just saying that because I created it. Give it a try, if you have any problems installing it, let me know.
