HOOPLE stands for Hierarchical Object-Oriented Programming Language Extensions. hoople consists mainly of C++ class libraries, but it also includes a set of useful applications based on the hoople libraries. Version 2 of hoople, the second incarnation of the library, is being refactored for clarity, agility, reliability, and maintainability.
