Helix Patch Generator is based on VSTHost by Hermann Seib. It loads the Audjoo Helix virtual synth, and generates random patches for it by setting its parameters via the VST API. The randomness of the patch, and the subset of parameters the generator affects can be controlled by the user. The program also provides utility functions like copying oscillators, envelopes or filters between patches, clearing the modulation matrix, or generating new sequencer patterns aligned to semitones.

User Reviews

  • At first it is a very cools idea. Thank you for the effort. I can´t get Midi working on it...after select Midi Device, it erase the selection by hit OK. (used a AKAI MPK mini with USB) It is just only in a Standalone Version available and seems like only 32bit, but need this in the VST/ DAW. Would be awesome, if you can implement this...maybe with the help of Jonas Norberg and a bit of GUI improvements. If it works for other people then it is a very good help to find sounds. The GUI looks a bit poor, but it should be easy to use and understand functions. Regards.
  • Wild sounds generated, and some not so wild. Thanks for the effort!
