This script sets the Advanced Power Management level of an Hard Disk. This action is performed at boot and every time the machine resumes from hibernation or suspend. The script can be used together with the provided service file for use with systemd and it can also be used with pm-utils.
The objective is to avoid the constant head park some disks perform due to very aggressive default power management settings.
