Guntu

Note on 21.04.2018: After installing just do sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade. Your system would upgrade to Guntu 18.04 and you'd get the login screen with Bionic Beaver. In 7 days, just do sudo apt dist-upgrade. ENJOY!

Guntu is a rolling distro based on upcoming Ubuntu 18.04 with a bottom panel, GnoMenu and a hotcorner at the bottom left corner.

Synaptic Package Manager is installed and working in both Wayland and Xorg. Gnome-shell-extensions are enabled by default in Firefox. You can enable autohide the bottom panel, if you want. You can also move the panel to the top.

You can keep your installation up to date with
"sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade" or
with the Software Updater app.
